Bedrock Harvest Party Invitation

On the evening of Saturday, August 30th we will be throwing a party to kick off the harvest months.  The Rebecca’s Vineyard Pinot Noir will be poured (and the grower Josh Hermsmeyer will be on hand as well, since he deserves as much kudos as anyone), along with the 2007 Bedrock Heirloom Wine.  I will also have barrel samples of other 2007 wines for people to try out.

In the tradition of Lulu Tempier in Bandol we will probably be cooking up a huge pot of bouillabaisse.  We might also try our hand at cro-magnum cuts of meat– either a whole pig, lamb legs, or something of the sort, roasted on a spit.  Obviously plenty of refreshing beer and wine will be provided.

The festivities will kick off around six and go as long as people choose to stick around.  We will be out among the old vines at Bedrock Vineyards– located at 776 Madrone Road, Glen Ellen, CA.
